Program Information
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond (Bank) believes that the health and wellness of its employees are critical to the success of the Bank’s mission. The Bank has established a voluntary wellness incentive program (program) for all active Bank employees. Employees participating in the program can complete program activities to earn points that can be redeemed for PTO.
Eligibility: All active employees of the Bank are generally eligible to participate in the program. The program allows eligible employees to earn rewards during and receive rewards for certain rewards periods, which are the following six-month periods: November 1 – April 30∗ and May 1 – October 31. To be eligible to receive rewards for a particular rewards period, you must be an active employee on the 15th of the month following the end of that rewards period. So, for example, to be eligible to receive rewards for the November 1 – April 30 rewards period, you must be actively employed by the Bank on May 15.
All questions or disputes regarding eligibility for this program, the eligibility for rewards, the availability of rewards or points, or the terms and conditions of the program set forth herein (Terms and Conditions) will be resolved by the Bank at its sole discretion.

Participant Information
Disclosure of Personal Medical Information: By participating in the program and by clicking below, you understand and agree that to earn rewards under the program you likely will need to disclose personal information, including potentially sensitive information. You understand and agree that your participation in the program is voluntary and, therefore, any information you choose to share is shared on a voluntary basis.
Integrity and Honor: This program is an honor-based system. You understand that the information you enter may, at some point, be subject to an independent audit and verification (see Random Audit section). If it is determined that the information you have entered to obtain a reward of additional PTO was the result of your misconduct, the Bank will deduct points awarded and take disciplinary action against you, up to and including termination. Examples of misconduct include, but are not limited to: dishonesty, falsification of records, and violations of the Bank’s Code of Conduct.
Participant Enrollment:You have several ways that you can enroll in the program. Initially, you will be emailed a registration webpage link by On Lines Rewards; or you can access the registration page by going to the Health Services’ 5Spot page and clicking on the Health and Wellness rewards program link; or you can go to http://frb-richmond@online-rewards.com to begin the process. When you arrive at the registration site, you will be presented with the option to “Activate Your Account”. In order to activate your account, you will be asked to enter and confirm your employee ID number. You will then be prompted to create your own unique password, after which you will be able to begin using the program.
Accommodations and Other Considerations: If a medical condition makes it unreasonably difficult for you to achieve the standards for the reward under this program, call Health Services at 804-697-8407 and the program administrators will work with you to develop another way to participate in the program. If you are out on short term disability or FMLA leave, the program administrators will give you a pro-rata amount of points for the rewards’ period during which you are out.
To earn incentive points:All activities are assigned a point value and fall within one of four categories (Fitness, Nutrition, Prevention, and Emotional Well Being). In order to earn four (4) hours of PTO, you must earn 100 points in each of the four categories with the additional 100 points coming from any one or more of the categories. Likewise, in order to earn eight (8) hours of PTO, you must earn 200 points in each of the categories with the additional 200 points coming from any one or more of the categories.
Category | 4 hours of PTO | 8 hours of PTO |
---|---|---|
Fitness | 100 points | 200 points |
Nutrition | 100 points | 200 points |
Prevention | 100 points | 200 points |
Emotional Well Being | 100 points | 200 points |
Additional points from any, or any combination, of the above categories | 100 points | 200 points |
Total Points | 500 points | 1,000 points |
- Earned point totals will return to zero at the conclusion of each rewards’ period. There will be no credit, carryover or transfer of points from one rewards’ period to another.
- You cannot transfer points to another employee. Points have no monetary value except to the extent specifically provided for by a reward.
- Through 2013, you will have the opportunity to earn a SoGo cash card during each rewards’ period by taking quizzes. Quizzes will be offered monthly and in order to earn a SoGo card, you will need to correctly answer 75% of the questions in four of the quizzes offered in the rewards’ period. (At the Bank’s discretion, this program may be extended beyond 12/31/2013.)
Random Audit:Keep a record of the activities you completed (e.g., dates and times of classes you attended, activities you participated in, medical receipts and/or copies of benefits statements redacted to remove personal, medical information, etc.) as the program administrator will perform audits for accuracy of randomly selected accounts for each program period. If your account is audited, and there are questions about your activities, you will be contacted via email and asked to provide proof of your claims. Failure to respond to the audit requests may result in withdrawal of points, disciplinary action, and removal from the program. If you have claimed something in error, please report it to the program administrators so it can be corrected.
To redeem incentive points:
- Points are earned upon successfully completing the specified activity.
- In order to be eligible for incentives, you must be an active employee on the 15th day of the month following the end of that rewards’ period.
- PTO hours will automatically be credited to your PTO bank of hours.
- Points are subject to the Bank’s discretion and the conditions for receiving additional PTO may be altered at any time.
Statements of Points Earned: This program provides eligible participants with a variety of activities that they may participate in. Your points earned for completing each activity, and points still needed in order to successfully earn four or eight hours of PTO, are prominently displayed in the program.
Termination of Program: The Bank reserves the right to terminate the program at any time without prior notification.
Promotional Events: From time to time, the Bank, at its discretion, may sponsor events intended to promote participation in specific programs. These events may be terminated at any time, without prior notice.
